PURPOSE: To improve the convenience of a Japanese version booklet catalog for foreigners. The foreign buyers access a server site where the database is registered to open the virtual catalog in a desired language, makes the virtual catalog correspond to a booklet catalog with a merchandise number, etc., and selects merchandise. Thus, the buyers can purchase the merchandise with sufficient understanding to improve convenience. For a mail-order retailer, services are improved and selling costs can also be suppressed in comparison with preparing and distributing a booklet catalog in each language.
