PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem that installing an electromagnetic shield in an IF circuit or the like as countermeasures against noises from a degaussing coil requires a shield member for the electromagnetic shield, which tends to increase the number of steps and causes a bottleneck in cost reduction. SOLUTION: In a television apparatus comprising a power supply circuit for receiving power supply from an AC power terminal to generate a voltage for driving an inner circuit, and a degaussing coil for receiving power supply from an AC power terminal, a noise eliminating device for attenuating a high frequency noise is provided in a line which normally connects the degaussing circuit and the power supply circuit. The noise elimination device can be substituted by a device which can be mounted after designing a circuit for the television apparatus or a device which is originally provided for the television apparatus. Thus, it is possible to implement a noise reduction circuit which costs less and requires a smaller number of assembly manhours.
