MICROBIAL COMPOSITION AS AN FEED ADDITIVE

PURPOSE: Provided is a microbial composition as a feed additive which dramatically increase digestion rate to decrease the generation of excretion, and inhibits the growth of harmful pathogens. CONSTITUTION: The microbial composition as a feed additive comprises Streptococcus mutans, Lactobacillus bifermentans, Candida utillis, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Aspergillus niger and Trichoderma reesei in a ratio of 6-8:1.5-3:1-2.5:3.0-4.5:3.0-4.5:1.0-2.5. It is manufactured by the steps of: pre-culturing microorganisms isolated from soil in broth individually; culturing them in a solid medium using defatted bran; mixing and freeze-drying them. A feed contains 0.1-1.0 wt.% of microbial composition.
