摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an initial trajectory measuring instrument for golf ball, which can be installed at a position not to mentally affect a golfer, is not erroneously operated even in the environment of much noises, has light weight and is easy to be carried and to be handled and reduces costs. SOLUTION: An initial trajectory measuring instrument 2 for golf ball has three reflection type photosensors 4, 6 and 8 having planar detection faces for detecting the pass of a golf ball by detecting reflected light from the golf ball when the golf ball passes such a detection face and a base plate 10 for fixing and locating these photosensors 4, 6 and 8 in one line, each of detection faces is arranged so that the detection face of each of photosensors 4, 6 and 8 can be orthogonal to the surface, which includes the array direction of the photosensors 4, 6 and 8, vertical to the base plate and at least one pair of detection faces among the detection faces of three photosensors 4, 6 and 8 is in a non-parallel relation.
