PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize correct learning control for a lock-up clutch engagement hydraulic pressure of a torque converter in a short time. SOLUTION: In determining an initial command hydraulic pressure Pca by adding a lock-up learning correction quantity PL to a coast lock-up basic initial pressure Pco in a step 120 after reaching a coast lock-up range, with the lock-up learning correction quantity determined and stored in a step 109, 111, or 112 in a previous flow conducting lock-up in a slip lock-up range, for example, other than above in the previous flow, the initial command hydraulic pressure is determined using the lock-up learning correction quantity PL in the other range. By thus utilizing result of learning in the other lock-up range, the correct basic initial pressure can be reached more speedily. |
