The engagement capacity for inertial traveling is determined based on a reverse drive torque detection value of an engine, and this detection value is corrected by an adjusted part of torque in accordance with actuation/non-actuation of an engine drive accessory, thereby the engagement capacity for inertial traveling is determined.
