PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material of high quality without material deformation having the capability of preventing a curling due to an environmental change or the application of heat during recording from occurring and making its use applications in a wide range of industrial fields. SOLUTION: This thermal recording material has at least a thermal recording layer formed on one of the surfaces of a support and a back coat layer on the other surface. This back coat layer is of a multi-layer structure with the outermost layer, farthest from the support of the back coat layer, containing a polyvinyl alcohol. In addition, the outermost layer preferably contains a water swelling synthetic mica. |
