PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use reinforcement made from polymers for the reinforcement of a face of slope formed by a banking layer, while preventing degradation of the reinforcement due to ultraviolet radiation, and also preventing sandbags provided inside the reinforcement along the face of slope from being degraded by ultraviolet radiation. SOLUTION: A reinforced banking structure 1 is constructed to a predetermined height by providing a plurality of banking layers 2 stacked one above another. The net- or sheet-shaped reinforcement 3 made from polymers, provided between the banking layers 2, is extended to the face of slope of the banking structure 1 and the exposed end face of each banking layer 2 is wrapped and covered with the reinforcement 3. Sandbags 5 are provided inside the reinforcement 3 and vegetation sheets 6 are mounted on the outside of the reinforcement 3, at the portion of the reinforcement 3 which wraps and covers the exposed end face of each banking layer 2.
