PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external fixation device, with which both pins and wires can be attached from almost the same direction at short intervals even when it is desired to fix several pins or wires for supporting a bone from the same direction to the bone corresponding to a treatment region and further, the condition of no space for inserting a fixation tool such as a wrench is improved even when fixation parts and attachments are arranged in adjacent holes, as the external fixation device to be used for a fracture of a bone, deforming treatment after fracture, shorted limb, osteomyelitis, deforming correction of dummy joint or the like and limb lengthening or the like. SOLUTION: The plate-like ring member, which is curved in the shape of a circular arc, of a halfring to be used for the external fixation device is bored with two lines of holes at equal intervals in the shape of concentric circle closer to the inside and the outside, and the holes of the hole line closer to the outside are positioned on a center between the adjacent holes of the hole line closer to the inside. Thus, a central angle between adjacent holes is made small, the intervals of pins or wires to be fixed through the holes can be shortened as well, the bone can be supported from almost the same direction, and the wrench can be inserted by widening the gap of adjacent holes.
