Air bladders and pipes used in the vulcanization of tyres are made from a composition comprising 95-80 parts by weight of butyl rubber and correspondingly 5-20 parts by weight of cis-1,4-polybutadiene. The composition is preferably vulcanized by a phenolic resin and may also contain a small amount of another elastomer such as neoprene.</p> |
