PURPOSE: Provided is a porous separator for a winding type lithium secondary battery containing a gel type polymer electrolyte, which is excellent in ionic conductivity and mechanical strength and provides batteries excellent in high ratio charge/discharge performance. CONSTITUTION: The porous separator is produced by a process comprising the steps of: dissolving polyvinyl chloride or a mixture, comprising the polyvinyl chloride and at least one selected from the group consisting of polyvinylidene fluoride, vinylidene fluoride/hexafluoro propylene copolymer, polymethacrylate, polyacrylonitrile, and polyethylene oxide, and a plasticizer in a casting solvent and dispersing an inorganic filler and Al2O3 or Li2CO3 in the solution; casting the resultant on a support; drying the resultant and removing the casting solvent to form a film on the support; and separating the film from the support. |
