PURPOSE: A method of transmitting data of a digital TV is provided to receive digital broadcasting data and application data for a home network system through the digital TV to transmit the data to a corresponding device connected to the home network system. CONSTITUTION: A broadcasting data stream is received through a digital TV tuner(S1) to separate digital broadcasting data and application data for a home network system from each other(S2). The broadcasting data is displayed on a digital TV screen(S6). An identification code of the home network system is given to the application data(S8), and the application data is output to the home network system(S9). A corresponding device among a plurality of devices connected with the home network system receives and processes the application data(S10), to display the data on a display module or execute it(S11).
