PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair-restoring and growing agent excellent in prevention of epilation, improvement of scalp state and hair quality-improving effect and having high safety. SOLUTION: This hair-restoring and growing agent is characterized by including a polyprenyl derivative represented by formula (I) (wherein R<1> and R<2> are each hydrogen atom, hydroxy group, a 1-10C alkoxy group, a 2-20C aliphatic acyloxy group, an aromatic acyloxy group or an araliphatic acyloxy group which may mutually be same or different; R<3> is hydrogen atom, a 1-10C alkyl, a 2-20C aliphatic acyl group, an aromatic acyl group or an araliphatic acyl group; (n) is 1-4 and when (n) is 2-4, R<2> s are same or different groups, with the proviso that at least one group of R<1> and R<2> is hydroxy group) as an active ingredient or including the polyprenyl derivative represented by formula (I) and an extract of Aloe ferox Miller as active ingredients. |
