PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and compact multi-axial motor control device that does not cause a drop in productivity even if the sum of the required power for respective axes exceeds the capacity of a converter. SOLUTION: The device comprises a converter 3, a main axis controller 5 that is connected to the converter 3 and controls the velocity of a main axis motor 9, a plurality of feed controller 7, 8 that control the velocity of a plurality of feed motors 10, 11, and an axis control block 4 provided at the converter 3, whose block receives velocity commands for the main axis controller 5 and a plurality of feed controllers 7, 8, all commands being collected in a package from an upper controller, decoded and distributed to the main axis controller 5 and a plurality of feed controllers 7, 8, and an arrangement is made that the required power for respective axes is computed from the velocity commands given to the main axis controller 5 and a plurality of feed controllers 7, 8 and inertia of respective axes prescribed in advance, so that the fluctuation rate of the velocity commands for the main axis is restricted only when the sum of the required power for respective axes exceeds the capacity of the converter 3.
