PURPOSE:To increase the degree of freedom in the position and area of an intake port by setting up a molding over almost the whole surface of the upside of a top cowling. CONSTITUTION:A molding 28 covering almost the whole body of a top surface is attached to the upside of a top cowling 26, while a first opening 30 is formed in space between the rear side of a lower edge and a rear surface of the top cowling 26, and likewise a second opening 32 is formed in the front as well. An intake port 48 of an engine is interconnected to the first opening 30 via an interspace with the back of the molding 28, and the passage in made so as to rise up once. Accordingly, even if moisture is contained in air being inhaled, this moisture will not penetrated into the intake port directly. In addition, air contained with the moisture out of the second opening 32 is interconnected to the intake port 48 via a clearance 64 between the cowling top and the molding back, and this moisture is removed by a pair of rising ribs 72 so that this moisture is prevented from penetrating into the intake port 48. With this constitution, the degree of freedom for the position and area of the intake port 48 is increased. |
