PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To open both doors in linkage even when a trouble occurs in a linkage mechanism for a main door and a sub-door constituting a landing door for an elevator. SOLUTION: An engaging element 19 protruding to the side of the sub-door 5 is provided at the rear end of the main door 4 and a rear protruding element 18 protruding to the side of the main door 4 is provided at the rear end of the sub-door 5. In a normal condition, when the main door 4 is moved to the direction of an arrowmark A, the sub-door 5 is driven to the same direction by the linkage mechanism (not illustrated). When a trouble occurs in the linkage mechanism, the sub-door 5 is not driven following the main door 4 but, if the engaging element 19 engages the rear protruding element 18 with the movement of the main door 4, the sub-door 5 is driven to the same direction as that of the main door 4 and opened.
