METHOD FOR INPUTTING HANGUL CHARACTERS IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A method for inputting Hangul characters in a mobile communication terminal is provided to conveniently and efficiently input characters including the Hangul characters using a keypad in which Hangul consonants and Hangul vowels are uniformly arranged on each numerical key button. CONSTITUTION: Hangul consonants correspond to each numerical key of a keypad unit and are inputted by pushing a numerical key of the consonant. A consonant omitted in the arrangement of the keypad unit is inputted by firstly inputting a consonant and secondarily pushing a "." button. A consonant is inputted by firstly pushing a consonant and successively pushing a "*" button twice. Hangul consonants are inputted by pushing consonants in which pronunciation is similar and pushing the "." button. Hangul single vowels are inputted by pushing a corresponding key of the keypad unit once. The other Hangul vowels are inputted by pushing the corresponding key twice. Double vowels are inputted by pushing single vowels and successively inputting single vowels necessary for double vowel completion.
