<p>An apparatus for sterile transfer of an article between a sterile container (11) and a sterile enclosure (23), said apparatus comprising the sterile enclosure having a first opening (21) provided with a first closure (24), the container having a second opening (12) provided with a second closure (13) and interconnection means (19) for connection of said enclosure to said container, whereby said connection results in formation of a chamber (31) defined, at least in part, by said interconnection means and said first and second closures, said chamber being provided with means (27) for entry of fluid thereto such that the chamber can be sterilised using a suitable fluid medium, opening of the first and second closures then providing a pathway for said sterile transfer.</p> |
