PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanter allowing for easily extracting a seedling box being in feed from a seedling feed section or seedling stand. SOLUTION: This seedling transplanter has the following construction and scheme: a seedling feed section 15 adjoining a seedling stand 14 is provided with a feed roller 17 and a press plate 18 impelled with a spring 20 and a seedling box guide 16 is set in the vicinity of the above adjoining point; a seedling box N, when positioned at the seedling feed section 15, is extracted from the seedling feed section 15 by lifting the box N against the impelling force on the press plate 18 to disengage the feed roller 17, while when positioned on the seedling stand 14, the seedling box N is extracted from the upstream or downstream side of the seedling box guide 16 by lifting the box N.
