BALANCE DEVICE OF ROTATING MACHINE AND EMBODIMENT METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A balance apparatus for a rotating machine and a method thereof are provided to rotate accurately, and to compensate displacement of the rotating machine from external force by offsetting vibration with applying electromagnetic exciting force. CONSTITUTION: A balance device is composed of a vibration/displacement sensor(202) detecting vibration of a rotating machine and outputting data; a signal processing unit(204) outputting a vibration/displacement signal according to data from the vibration/displacement sensor; a vibration/displacement display unit(206) displaying vibration/displacement signals through the signal processing unit; a control unit(208) calculating electromagnetic exciting force for offsetting vibration, and outputting a control signal; an electromagnetic exciting force driving unit(210) amplifying the control signal and converting into a current signal; and an electromagnetic exciter(212) keeping balance of the rotating machine by applying the electromagnetic exciting signal to the rotating machine. Stability and reliability are improved with rotating accurately at high speed, and preventing unbalance.
