Shock-absorbent packing is multi-layered with inner and outer plastics foil producing double layer of profiled hollow cavities

The multi-layered packing is made at least in part of a plastics foam and has an outer plastics foil and inner plastics foil producing a double layer of profiled hollow cavities folded inwards for shock absorbency. The packing can be designed so that at least one material layer runs flat when the foil is horizontal and another material layer is corrugated. The packaging can be tubular and have clamping closures.
