PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device for an electrophotographic device with high reliability by eliminating detection error in heat roll overheating error due to heat roll of thick film immediately after stopping of printing. SOLUTION: In a thermister for error detection, the error detection is not carried out when the state of a heat lamp is 'off'.
