PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetically sealed dynamoelectric compressor capable of preventing a rise of temperature of a stator winding and of surely preventing temperature degauss of a permanent magnet. SOLUTION: This hermetically sealed dynamoelectric compressor C is provided with a compression element (compressor) 3 and a dynamoelectric element 3 for driving the compression element 3 in a sealed vessel 1. The dynamoelectric element 3 is composed of a stator 7 provided with the stator winding 7 fixed to the sealed vessel 1 and a rotor 5 rotating in the stator 7. The rotor 5 is provided with a secondary conductor 5B mounted around a rotor york part 5A and the permanent magnet 31 embedded in the york part 5A. A temperature protection means (thermistor)46 for cutting off current carried to the dynamoelectric element 3 by predetermined temperature rise is mounted in the sealed vessel 1. The temperature protection means is attached to the stator winding 7.
