PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pre-treatment agent for metal drying, which prevents irregular appearance or stain after a drying process in a field of water-based metal surface treatment or water-based metal cleaning. SOLUTION: The pre-treatment agent for metal drying is characterized by an aqueous solution including (A) acetylenic alcohol with carbon number 3-10 of 10-10,000 ppm, and (B) inorganic acid of 0.1-10 wt.%.
