PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, when a green sheet is thinly layered for miniaturizing a ceramic capacitor and enlarging its capacity, voltage applied per unit thickness increases, the life time of a dielectric layer is shortened, and the reliability on the multilayer ceramic capacitor is reduced. SOLUTION: A sintered compact containing the oxide of Ba, Ti and Zr by 100 mol% expressed in terms of Ba(Ti1-x Zrx )O3 (wherein, x in Ti1-x Zrx satisfies 0.05<=x<=0.26), the oxide of Re (Re is one or more kinds selected from Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb and Y) by 0.25 to 1.5 mol% expressed in terms of Re2 O3 , the oxide of Mg by 0.1 to 0.4 mol% expressed in terms of MgO, the oxide of one or more kinds selected from Mn, V and Cr by 0.03 to 0.6 mol% expressed in terms of Mn2 O3 , V2 O5 and Cr2 O3 , respectively, and the oxide of Mo and/or W by 0.025 to 0.3 mol% expressed in terms of MoO3 and WO3 , respectively, and further containing SiO2 or a glass component including SiO2 in a prescribed ratio is used as the material for the dielectric layer of the ceramic capacitor. |
