PURPOSE: A steering torque-mapping device of a vehicle is provided to make a driver of the vehicle with an active front wheel steering system in which a steering column is cut to feel the same steering torque as the steering torque of a usual vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A steering torque-mapping device of a vehicle comprises a steering angle-detecting sensor(2) detecting a conversion angle of a steering wheel(1) as an electrical signal; a vehicle speed sensor(3) detecting the traveling speed of the vehicle as an electrical signal; an arithmetic unit(4) calculating the reference value of steering torque through the output signals of the steering angle-detecting sensor and the vehicle speed sensor; an adder(5) adding the output value of a steering torque-detecting sensor(13), installed to a wheel shaft(10), to the output value of the arithmetic unit; a controller(6) outputting a control signal corresponding to the output signal of the adder; an amplifier(7) amplifying the output signal of the controller and operating a steering wheel angle control motor(8); and the motor producing power corresponding to the output of the amplifier and transmitting the power to the wheel shaft through an idle gear(9) and a fixed gear(11). Steering torque is not produced in the steering wheel, as a steering column is divided by a magnetic clutch.
