PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply which is sufficiently protected from overheating and does not increase the a cost, and electrical equipment using it. SOLUTION: The power supply is provided with the first power supply circuit ES1 that the first power supply main circuit PS1 including a winding component L1 and the first control circuit CC1 are implemented on the first wiring board PCB1, the second power supply circuit ES2 that the second power supply main circuit PS2 including a winding component and the second controlling circuit CC2 are implemented on the second wiring board PCB2 and that inputs an output from the first power supply circuit ES1, an auxiliary winding wa magnetically coupled to the winding component L1 in one of the first and second power supply circuits ES1, ES2, a rectifier means D3, a filter means C3 and an auxiliary DC power supply circuit AES comprising an overheat protecting means OHP for operating at the predetermined temperature and stopping supply of an auxiliary DC power supply voltage to the first and second controlling circuits CC1, CC2 and implemented on the wiring board PCB1 that the winding component L1 magnetically coupled to the auxiliary winding wa is implemented.
