PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To paste or print an index on a dial having irregular steps. SOLUTION: Quadrangular pyramid-shaped protrusions 1a are formed dense on the surface of the dial 1. A transparent resin coating film 2 is printed on a part, in which hour signs and marks on the surface of the dial 1 are arranged and installed. A metal index 3 is composed of an index body 4 and an adhesive layer 5 applied to the rear surface of the index body 4. When the film 2 is printed, a transparent resin fills recesses 1b on the dial 1, the recesses 1b become shallow, irregular steps on the surface of the dial 1 are relaxed as a result, and the adhesive layer 5 at the index 3 is brought into contact with the surface of the dial 1 without gaps. When the index is printed and formed, it can be printed satisfactorily.
