PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a means for supporting a faucet body to be reliably covered with a cover without requiring a large-scale cover for wholly covering the faucet body and the supporting means in a hydrant whose supporting means is provided on an obverse side of an installation surface. SOLUTION: The hydrant 1 is provided with the faucet body 10, which is disposed on the obverse side of the installation surface 5, and the supporting means 9 which is provided on the obverse side of the installation surface 5 so as to support the faucet body 10. The hydrant 1 is also provided with the cover 80 which is inserted and fitted slidably into the faucet body 10 in order to cover the supporting means 9. Additionally, the hydrant 1 is provided with a leaf spring 92 for urging the cover 80 in a direction of the installation surface 5.
