PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planetary gear device offering simple construction requiring no ring gear and to provide a speed change gear for establishing the rotation at different change gear ratios by continuously arranging a plurality of gear shifts. SOLUTION: The speed change gear comprises a sun gear rotatable integrally with a spindle, at least one planetary gear for engaging the sun gear, a guide member for supporting the planetary gear and rotating integrally therewith, and a supporting member for supporting the sun gear, the planetary gear and the guide member. The planetary gear has a pair of pins implanted in each side face and the supporting member has a restricting groove for restricting the rotation of the planetary gear with the engagement of the pair of pins.
