PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braided cloth for an FRP pipe which is used properly for the FRP pipe of high breaking strength and a reinforcing material. SOLUTION: In the braided cloth 20 which is used as the reinforcing material of the FRP pipe, continuous fiber bundles 11-16 are arranged in a plurality of directions, and the basis weight of the fiber bundles 11 and 16 in one direction is smaller than that of the fiber bundles 12-15 in the other directions. By arranging the fiber bundles 11 and 16 in the axial direction of the pipe, the breaking strength in the circumferential direction of the FRP pipe can be increased.
