PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rope-tension holding metal fitting, by which there is no possibility of the cut by rubbing of a rope and the tensile state of the rope is not loosened easily and which has a rope-holding revolution body at a low cost. SOLUTION: The rope-tension holding metal fitting 1 is composed of a holding metal fitting body 4 made of stainless steel having side plate sections 2 and 3 at a proper interval on both sides, the rope-holding revolution body 5 installed into the holding metal fitting body 4 and a rope-holding receiving member 7 for holding the rope 6 between the rope-holding receiving member 7 and the rope-holding revolution body 5. A rope-holding member 21 consisting of a rubber member having the same properties and characteristics as an automobile tire is mounted on the head section of the rope-holding revolution body 5 so as to cover the head section.
