PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that a PM scavenging device and an oxidation catalyst device to oxidize HC and CO generated at a regeneration process for DPF are formed in a single body. SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control device for a diesel engine is formed such that an oxidation catalyst chamber C and a filter chamber F are formed in a separation state in the longitudinal direction of a body 10, and a first route for exhaust gas through which the exhaust gas (g) from an engine 1 is caused to pass from the oxidation catalyst chamber C to the filter chamber F and a second route for the exhaust gas through which the exhaust gas passes from the filter chamber F to the oxidation catalyst chamber C are formed in a manner to be simply switched to the respective first and second routes. |
