An angle adjustable handlebar assembly for exercise bikes comprises a positioning tube 2 with a toothed end 20, a sleeve 3 extends through the tube and with a toothed shoulder 303 at one end for engagement with the toothed end of the tube and a threaded portion 304 at the other end for engagement with a locking member 31. A handle 5 extends through the sleeve which is engaged with the handle by a bolt (19 figure 1). A further tube 10 may be provided to receive the positioning tube and attach the assembly to a handle post (1 figure 1). The sleeve 3 and tubes 2 and 10 may respectively have holes 305 and slots 21 and 12 and to receive a cable. The sleeve may have a slot 306 for a limit bolt 190 to engage with the handle. The sleeve and the handle can be pulled to disengage from the toothed end of the tube and rotated to desired angle and then re-engaged.
