AUTOMATIC STOP POSITION MONITORING SYSTEM OF HARBOR TRAILER

PURPOSE: An automatic stop position monitoring system of a harbor trailer is provided to reduce the risk bearing caused by manual operation by locating the stop position of a trailer to a driver exactly and safely, to reduce labor costs, and to prepare for a sequential harbor automation. CONSTITUTION: An automatic stop position monitoring system comprises a sensing unit(110) and a display unit(108). The sensing unit automatically senses the stop position of a trailer(20) depending on a change of position of a crane. The display unit let a driver know the stop position of the trailer as a visual signal. The sensing unit comprises at least more than one laser sensor and a CCD camera(100). The laser senses the position to the side of the trailer, with installed at the lower side end of the crane structure. The CCD camera senses the position at the upper end of the trailer, with installed at the upper side end of the crane structure. A driver presupposes the stop position while seeing the situation displayed with using the whole of the right structure of the gentry crane. Therefore, the trailer is easily stopped at the exact stop position.
