PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure relief valve of a simple structure which opens in response with an increase of the extremely slight pressure in the gaseous phase section within a hermetic block to restore the inside of the hermetic block to atmospheric pressure while maintaining hermeticity and does not occupy an area for annexing and an oil coating applicator equipped with the same. SOLUTION: The pressure relief valve of a sheet-like object 1 of rubber or the like of 10 to 80 in hardness is affixed with a block wall section 5 for compartmentalize the outdoor air and a pressure regulating chamber. The sheet- like object of the rubber or the like is formed with a notch 3 which penetrates the front and rear surfaces and the pressure relief valve is opened by pressure of 1 to 100 KPa in the gage pressure of the pressure regulating chamber.
