PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiplex device capable of realizing high speed optical transmission without using any electronic device such as a quickly operating flip-flop circuit, realizing an optical transmitting speed beyond the operating speed limit of a normal flip-flop circuit, and contributing to both cost reduction and miniaturization. SOLUTION: A coder 4 is provided with flip-flop circuits 4a and 4b for holding and receiving two system signals having B/2 transmitting speeds by a B/2 frequency, an adder 4f for adding and outputting respective output signal outputted from the flip-flop circuits 4a and 4b, and a delay unit 4e for delaying the output signal from the flip-flop circuit 4b by 1/B time against the output signal outputted from the flip-flop circuit 4a in the input timing of the adder 4f. |
