PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a spice in which the sharp taste of red pepper is softened. SOLUTION: This method for producing the spice comprises a mixing process S1 for mixing raw materials comprising dry red pepper, salt and vinegar, an aging process S2 for aging the mixed raw materials for a prescribed period of time to produce the intermediate, a salted pepper-adding process S3 for adding salted red pepper, a blended vinegar-adding process S4 for adding a blended vinegar, the first and second grinding processes S5 and S6 for finely grinding the intermediate, a reaging process S7 for further aging the ground product containing a liquid component, and an extraction process S8 for extracting the solid content of the reaged ground product. |
