JIG USED FOR HIGH SHANK OSTEOTOMY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an accurate positioning in the corrective movement of a shank after an osteotomy while facilitating the sphenoidal osteotomy of the shank. SOLUTION: A jig A is provided with a jig body 1 which has a cylinder member (holding part) 7 provided on a circular arc-like support plate 4, a mobile jig 2 which has first and second cylinder members (cylinder steel wire guides) 12 and 13 on a circular arc-like mobile plate 9 and is mounted on the outer circumference side of the jig body 1 and a fixed jig 3 which has a cylinder member 17 on a circular arc-like fixed plate 15 and is mounted at the rear end part on the side of the outer circumference of the jig body 1. The cylinder members 1 and 12 of the jig body 1 and the mobile jig 2 are made to match the sphenoidal angle of a part undergoing a sphenoidal osteotomy of a high shank, then, a guide wire is forced to pierce the shank along a far incised surface to be left by the osteotomy from the cylinder member 12 and a corrective wire to piece the shank from the cylinder member 13. After the osteotomy, a far bone piece is correctively moved to be localized so that the correction wire parallels the guide wire piercing the near incised surface left by the osteotomy.
