A polymerizable composition comprising (A) a polymerization initiator represented by the general formula (1) and (B) a radical-polymerizable compound: (1) wherein R<5>, R<6>, R<7>, R<8>, and R<9> are each independently hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy, hydroxyl, acyloxy, halogeno, or -NR<10>R<11>, with the proviso that at least one of them must be -NR<10>R<11>; R<1>, R<2>, R<3>, R<4>, R<10>, and R<11> are each independently hydrogen, alkyl, or aryl; and Z<-> is an arbitrary anion.
