PURPOSE:To attain the efficient merchandise inventory control by providing a means to designate the number of danger inventories concerning an arbitrary merchandise. CONSTITUTION:The number of danger inventories of the department unit, merchandise (PLU) unit and large classification unit inputted from a key input part 2 is set to a department register R1, a PLU register R2 and a large classification register R3 of a RAM3. Next, the size of the number of inventories of a department memory m1 of the RAM3 and a memory m2 classified by the PLU set to a department unit and a merchandise unit and the number of danger inventories set to the department register R1 and the PLU register R2 is compared, and when the number of danger inventories is larger (when the number of the inventories of the merchandise is lower than the number of danger inventories), the department code, the inventory number merchandise (PLU) code and the number of the inventories are respectively outputted. Thus, the merchandise, etc., in which the number of the inventories is the arbitrary number of the inventories or below, can be easily outputted.
