PURPOSE:To provide an image pickup function and to perform various signal processings in the device main body, by using a horizontal register part of a solidstate function element as a memory for one horizontal scanning period 1H where data corresponding to 1H is stored. CONSTITUTION:A photodetecting part 41A and a storage part 41B of an image sensor 2 consist of vertical transfer registers due to CCDs. Horizontal transfer register parts 43A, 43B, 43C and 43D are provided in both sides of the photodetecting part 41A and the storage part 41B in the vertical direction through vartical transfer gate parts 42A, 42B, 42D and 42E. These register parts 43A-43D have a storage capacity for data corresponding to one horizontal scanning period 1H respectively. An image pickup part provided with this sensor 2 is assembled together with a recording and reproducing part into one body, and these horizontal register parts are used as 1H memories where data corresponding to one horizontal period 1H are sotred to perform signal processings, thereby realizing a recording and reproducing device having the image pickup function and performing various signal processings in the device main body. |
