PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic composition for the hair which sufficiently fixes a hair style, provides excellent beauty culture characteristics such as comfortable touch or natural appearance, etc., fixes and/or maintains a hair style, to provide a use for the composition and a method for hair dressing by using the composition. SOLUTION: This cosmetic composition comprising at least one polymer having a polysaccharide type skeleton grafted with a component containing at least one polysiloxane and at least one fixing polymer in a medium acceptable as a cosmetic is prepared and used.
