PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anchor fitting capable of being installed from the front surface of a wall even if there is only a small space at the back of a wall such as an exterior or interior wall of a building or a floor board. SOLUTION: A nut plate 2 is formed with an internal thread 5 and an anchor base 3 is formed with a shaft hole 6 in a position corresponding to the internal thread 5. A first hole allowing insertion of the nut plate 2 and a second hole allowing insertion of a threaded shank 7 are bored in the wall on which an anchor is installed. The nut plate 2 is inserted through the first hole and the internal thread 5 is aligned with the second hole when the nut plate 2 has reached the back of the wall to cause the anchor base 3 to abut against the surface of the wall. The threaded shank 7 is inserted into the second hole through the shaft hole 6 in the anchor base 3 and is coupled to the internal thread 5 of the nut plate 2.
