PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester partially oriented un-stretched yarn, suppressed with its orientation in spinning and also excellent in yarn-producing property, process-passing property and improvement in productivity. SOLUTION: This polyester partially oriented un-stretched yarn consists of the polyester obtained by co-polymerizing a branch-forming compound having plural branch-forming groups capable of forming a branched structure by a chemical reaction and >=400 distance (Ma) between the branch-forming groups in molecular weight, and has 0.015-0.060 birefringence.
