PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a folding plate device for forming laminated wet tissues folded into a desired shape from base materials such as bulky nonwoven cloths which have a high longitudinal elongation percentage under constant tensile stress and also provide a manufacturing method for wet tissue package body and a folding plate device thereof which can change the width of the laminated body in a wider range according to the desired products and deal with production of various kinds of base cloths which differ in the folding width or the folding a shape using a single series of folding plate device. SOLUTION: This folding plate device has a folding board divided into two, right and left (1), at least one pair of positioning stays provided on the right and left folding boards in parallel to and facing each other (2), a plurality of folding edges provided on each of the right and left folding boards (3) and a movable adjustment mechanism which connects the positioning stays to each other (4).
