PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a starfish-exterminating device not requiring a manual work in the sea, not destroying the nature, and also capturing and exterminating only the starfish without capturing shellfishes. SOLUTION: This starfish-exterminating device is provided by installing a cylindrically shaped drum 1, many capturing pins 2 on the outer circumferential surface of the drum 1 and drum bearing parts 9 at both the sides of the drum 1. At the drum bearing parts 9, each of the linking plates 7 is joined, and at the rear direction of the linking plates 7, a collecting net frame 5 and a collecting net 6 are installed. At the lower part of the collecting net frame 5, a front gap-adjusting plate 12 and a rear gap-adjusting plate 13 are installed. Further, between the collecting net frame 5 and drum 1, a falling down- preventing plate 4 equipped with a notched part having flexibility and passing through the capturing pins 2 is installed, and a leaving plate 3 equipped with a notched part for passing through the capturing pins 2 in the upper direction of the falling down-preventing plate 4 is installed. The leaving plate 3 is tilted so that the capturing pins 2 go into the notched part from the lower edge of the capturing pins 2 and go through the notched part from the upper edge.
