PURPOSE: A multifunctional access device with a voice/data unified type is provided to unify voice and data signals and offer a voice and data through one telephone line. CONSTITUTION: A telephone exchange unit(210) encodes or decodes an analog signal inputted from the outside, and directly connects an extension to an office line when emergency situation is generated. A LAN(Local Area Network) switch unit(220) connects to a plurality of computers, and is switched so that the connected all computers exchange data each other. A control unit(230) connects to the telephone exchange unit(210) and the LAN switch unit(220), interfaces various signals provided from the telephone exchange unit(210), and controls the LAN switch(220) for receiving a data signal provided from the LAN switch unit(220) and providing the received data signal to a desired path. A LAN network connection unit(240) is located between the control unit(230) and an external xDSL(x Digital Subscriber Line) modem(270) for relaying transmitting/receiving data between the control unit(230) and the external xDSL modem(270). An xDSL modem(250) connects to the telephone exchange unit(210) and the control unit(230), and modulates/demodulates inputted data, and transmits the modulated/demodulated data to a corresponding path.
