PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head having a high bonding reliability of joining a flow channel substrate forming a liquid chamber and a nozzle plate, and an ink jet recorder capable of providing a stable image quality in the ink jet head equipped with the nozzle plate having nozzles to eject ink drops, the liquid chamber communicating with the nozzles, and a pressuring means for pressuring the ink in the liquid chamber, the ink in the liquid chamber is pressurized by driving the pressurizing means to eject the ink drops from the nozzles. SOLUTION: A titanium nitride film 101 is formed on the bonding faces of the flow channel substrate 41 and the nozzle plate 43, and the faces are bonded together by an adhesive agent 102.
