PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To observe or change images of a media card by means of only a printer and a TV monitor without the use of a personal computer in the printer which prints digital images recorded in the media card or the like. SOLUTION: The printer is provided with a D/A conversion section 30 converting the image data inputted from the media card 11 into an analog data, and an external device terminal 32 for outputting this to a TV monitor 20. By this, the digital image data can be preview displayed on the TV monitor.
